Customizable USMLE Review Sessions
You have an option of taking a Condensed High Yield Review Course or Customizable Review Sessions. Upon initial consultation with a tutor, students will receive a customized monthly or weekly schedule that is designed around their target test date.
1. Condensed High Yield Review Example
20 Sessions of USMLE Tutoring:
- 19 days of coursework, system by system, with an integration of other resources
- 3 to 4-hour sessions with time for reviews, questions and discussions
- Customized review course scheduled for 3, 5 or 7 days a week (1-4 hours per session)
- The 20th review session reserved for organizing a test-passing plan from now until the day of the test
2. Customizable Review Sessions
MedSmarter tailors your one-on-one USMLE tutoring sessions so you only review the subjects you identify as problem areas:
- Anywhere from 5 Hours to 75 hours spent on the areas that are giving you the most difficulty
- Designate the number of hours scheduled on each subject based on your busy schedule
- More time delegated to the subjects that have the most negative effect on the NBME and UWorld Assessments
- Any unused hours will be refunded within 90 days of completion of the final tutoring session

The United States Medical Licensing Examination is a series of tests, known as Steps. They assess whether or not a med school student or graduate is ready to work in a medical environment and practice medicine in the US.
Each test must be taken at a different interval in your medical school career. They are referred to as Steps:

In order for MedSmarter to better serve students, we adhere to the cancellation policy below .
If students cannot make it to their tutoring session, MedSmarter must be notified no less than 48 hours to cancel your appointment. If you do not cancel 48 hours in advance of the session, you will be charged a fee of 50% of that particular session’s cost. No-call/No-shows will be charged 100% of the session’s cost.
